BookNow Software – April Release Notes
We’ve recently launched our latest version of BookNow Software to our customers – full release details and upgrade instructions have been emailed out to the main contact on your account.
Please see below for a full list of this months feature rollout, highlights include the launch of a product filter tool that will give your customers greater ability to filter your product list based on pre-built filters as well as any custom filter they may want, reminiscent of the filtering type used on sites like Amazon.
We have also launched a brand new component to create and manage assets and asset classes which will make it even easier for customers to launch and manage their systems.

Category: Additional Feature
- Minor user interface adjustment made to the Customer Search page to optimise utilisation of screen real estate.
- We have introduced new functionality within the v3 Customer Product Page for front end product filtering. This will allow the customer to filter your product list based on things such as the reporting group, the location (site), the date of booking, pricing ranges and even a custom filter that you can define. Please get in touch with our Customer Service team for assistance in setting up this feature.
- We now update the booking history to document the last user to have modified a parked sale.
- Supervisor accounts can now manage memberships from the customer search page. You can change values for the following fields: Active, Quantity, Billing Amount, Next Bill Date.
- We have created a new component to create and manage Assets and Asset Classes. This should make it easier to see what asset classes you have in your environment, and manage the assets inside it.
- The EPOS page will now automatically create a booking upon checkout if the total value of the booking is 0, rather than prompting a payment method.
Category: User Interface
- This feature will prevent users with the ‘Employee’ profile from being able to delete a parked sale. This can be enabled by checking the ‘Disallow Employee Delete Permissions’ option on your site record.
- If utilising the average guest age feature, the average age for a booking is now displayed on the Check-in page under the booking flags.
- The v3 Customer Booking Page now offers the option of displaying a rich text product description, within an expandable chevron. This is enabled on the BookNow Setup file and can be set to expand by default or hidden by default. This will only display if the corresponding rich text product description is filled in on the product object in SalesForce.
- General user interface improvements to V3 customer booking page.
