Booknow Software introduces qr code ordering functionality

Like 99.99% of businesses, the coronavirus pandemic has impacted us this year. Whilst we’re always working on updates and new features for our solution, the coronavirus pandemic has forced our hand when it comes to how we have prioritised which features will be rolled out and when.

With the need for social distancing to minimise the spread of the virus, one of the key features we wanted to get rolled out as soon as possible was the ability for food and drink table ordering at our customer sites.

This feature allows your guests to simply scan a QR code or enter a URL displayed on their table and place their order for food and drink, delivering this straight to your kitchen or bar staff.

We see this being a key feature even once we’re past the coronavirus pandemic, as it makes placing the order for food and drink far more easier for the customer, likely meaning increased sales for your venue.
